1. Zak Spencer

Day by day, hour by hour, our peripherals are marred within this blind world we live in. This life is a frail shadow of the life to come. Now we live with unveiled glory for the curtain has been torn. Fragmented and degraded impaired by sin. This is not the fullness that has been promised. Incorruptible life must arise from the ashes, a funeral of the flesh. Refined and tested only death can birth true life.

2. Lament

Let’s not let the sun go down. To me, tonight is like a farewell from a silent yet beautiful dream. Why do I have to run away? I want to stay with You. I don’t seem to want to understand. It is so cold inside this shelter that I call home. Laying naked in the winds of reform. Dragging my feet and covering my ears. I want to escape, to break out of this norm. I am crying for more.

3. The Quotidian Sucession

Your face has cascaded down like leaves in autumn's sequence. I see you have grown fainthearted, famished by the quotidian succession. The savor of the vine has left your tongue of communion, for your wineskin has not been preserved. You have been drawn away led astray by frivolous desire, but this deterrent will not hold you down, nor hold you back. Lift your chin and open your eyes, for the sky is falling on you. For in your wanting you have been found. In your search His eyes have not turned. Return to your first love and shatter this daily cycle.

4. Memory of a Memory

Is this dead, is this dead? Locked up inside, I thought you had wilted. As if from a depth not of years, but of centuries. I heard this voice that has cried from the wilderness of my soul. lost memory resurrected. I have turned to a common place, stirred by a longing that has been long suppressed. in this certain sense, everything else is insignificant in comparison. Not to just gratify this desire but to but to awaken my spirit. I will exchange, I will exchange, a winter's kiss for a dove.
