About Phoenixpyre: Phoenixpyre was a metal band from the North Shore of Massachusetts. They blended influences from death, doom, and black metal with their own individual style of playing, and the result was a breath of fresh air to those tired of the same sounds being re-hashed from bands in the area, and metal bands in general. Members included current and former members of: The Carrier, Bring Your Own End, The Lazuline Midnight, Nepenthe, What Once Was, Unrequited, and P.S.
