About Akela: There are 2 bands that go by the name of Akela: 1. Hungarian Thrash Metal band born in Budapest. Akela is the name of a wolf in Kipling's "The Jungle Book". BIO: 1990: The band was founded by László Pálvölgyi(BASS), László Katona(VOCALS), Gyula Pavelka(GUITAR) and József Sobry(DRUMS). 1991: Second guitarist István Györki joined the band. 1992: Sobry left the band, new drummer: Miklós "Retek" Ratkai. 1994: Retek leaves, new drummer: Gábor Kertész.
